The Green Mobility Innovation Summit is part of a broader initiative under the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam – Indonesia – Malaysia – Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area) Vision 2025 framework, which highlights the sustainability in mobility and while promoting green economic in the region.  The Vision 2025 plan emphasize the importance of integrating green approaches into infrastructure development, climate resilience, and smart city initiatives. 

The Green Mobility Innovation Summit: Driving the Future – Talent, Innovation & Sustainability in Green Mobility is scheduled to take place on September 8 until 9, 2025 at the Imperial Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.  The event will host over 30 speakers and panellist across and beyond the region, sharing insights on a range of topics aimed at driving positive change.

The event is expected to attract around 1,000 in-person delegates and anticipated to be officially opened by The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak.  With a focus on several important topics, the summit will highlight the advancement of sustainable transportation through the 4 focus sub-themes:

  • Talent Development Through Education & Training
  • Innovative Technologies and Solutions
  • Governance
  • Global Collaboration

 

 

 

 

Sarawak Skills is the preferred provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for industrial workers and school leavers in Sarawak.
